Qualifications

I am an experienced research professional, with a strong understanding of health research methods and CDISC standards. I am experienced in conducting data analysis and interpreting results, and I have a strong quantitative background. I am proficient in a variety of statistical software packages, including SAS, Stata, SPSS and ArcGIS. I have experience in working with longitudinal clinical data and large national level datasets. I am also skilled at developing research protocols and statistical analysis plans. My areas of expertise include statistical modeling, mixed-methods research, and intersectional studies in public health access and equity issues.

As a Biostatistician at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, I'm currently working on the LookAHEAD study, a research study of people with type 2 diabetes to assess the role of sex hormones on diabetes complications. In my previous role as a Research Coordinator, I oversaw and coordinated multiple projects. In both these research-centric roles, I have been responsible for maintaining up-to-date project documentation, developing statistical tables, figures, and reports. I have also been actively taking part in developing abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, scientific reports, and conference presentations to disseminate the results of the research.
